Can you guess the day of the week when most of it happens? yes, it is a Monday. This is how Mondays begin for most of us. But don’t you think that starting your week in a better way will help you to deal with the work stress? here are some of the ways how you can get rid of the Monday blues…
Wake up early: The Monday blues start from not being able to get up in the morning. you feel lazy and want to sleep for more time. But you have no option but get up and get ready for the day. if you have problem getting up on Monday mornings, sleep early on Sunday nights. This will not only help you wake up on proper time but also help you to carry your mundane activities at your regular pace.
Stand in front of the mirror: you woke up early now what to do? look into the mirror and say with a smile “Today will be a great day!” you may think it is very clich but this surely will bring the positive spark which you need to start your week. And if you think that worked for you, then you know what to do.
Listen to music: Monday is the start of the week and hence you just cannot go with bad mood to the office. Do things which you like to make your mood, listen to music, sing a song etc to pep your mood and be in the same mood all the day. It is all on you how you make your mood cheerful before starting your day.
Eat your Favorite Breakfast: Food makes everyone happy and what if you start your day with your favorite breakfast? if you like hot, garma garam dish of poha or yummy egg omelet, then make it for yourself and relish it. Starting a day with eating something which is your favorite, will surely keep you happy and cheerful throughout the day.
Go early to Work: Monday is the day of waking up late, getting ready in hurry and many a times reaching just before the time on office. to avoid this, start early from the house, this will make your reach office before time and also keep your mood happy and clam.
Greet All: Greet everyone with a great smile on your face when you reach office. From watchmen to your peon, to your colleagues, greet everyone with smile on your face and see how much positive energy you will spread in the office.
Take breaks: since Monday is the start of the week, you are bound to be busy in your work. Take breaks to break the monotony in sitting in front of the computer and working continuously. Take breaks, chat with your friends, share how you spent your weekend etc. Remember to keep your break short and again get back to work!
Plan your week: plan, plan and plan! Planning not only helps you schedule your week’s work but also help you set deadline to finish your work.
