Seaworld Orlando accident.
An animal trainer, Brancheau was killed by a whale at the Shamu Stadium, theme park, Orlando. It was a horrible incident in which the killer whale named Tilikum, killed her trainer on Wednesday during a public show.
According to visitors who were present at the time, the whale Tilikum jumped out of water and grabbed Brancheau by waist. All that happened in seconds that whale come out of 30–foot deep water and thrashed her body badly.
Police representative said that it was an accident in which the trainer fell down in the water tank and the killer-whale attacked her suddenly.
The park was evacuated just after the incident and Paramedics were immediately called to the Shamu Stadium at the theme park, but the life of the trainer couldn’t be survived. A representative for SeaWorld in San Diego, California said that the park was closed instantly and the whale show was stopped for the death of the trainer.
President of SeaWorld Orlando, Dan Brown said that Brancheau was among the most experienced animal trainers of the park and a full investigation about this deadly incident is on the move.
Brancheau started her career from the Sea Lion & Otter Stadium and she was working with the whales for almost ten years. She was nine years old when she visited the park with her mom and she got inspiration for being an animal trainer.
According to reports this whale has already assaulted some of the visitors and because of the past history of whale, she is kept isolated from other whales.
