aretha franklin, jack hanna, diana ross, barbara ross, mocienne petit jackson: In a moment of cultural bipartisanship that political wags (i.e., the anchors on ABC’s “Good Morning America”) are already referring to as “the Diva and the Diplomat,” Aretha Franklin and Condoleezza Rice teamed up on Tuesday night at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia for a concert to benefit inner-city youth programs and education initiatives. A review of the concert by Steve Smith will follow; in the meantime, the associated Press has posted the above video package which features Ms. Franklin and Ms. Rice’s duet on “I Say a little Prayer.” (Only one performer sings, and it’s the one you’re expecting.)
